Solos at The Boatyard

We are delighted to be working with Speed Sails to produce this high class epoxy Solo with new ideas from Phil Milanes, Jim Hunt and Andy Davis. We have spent the winter incorporating all their ideas into the new hull shape and deck mould and the boat has been received extremely well this year finishing third in the Nationals under the skilful hands of Andy Davis. This shot shows the clean area at the transom inside the cockpit as a result of making a split mould.

This shot shows the dual cleat arrangement moulded into the deck for a cleaner look and the stylish thwart reduced to minimum thickness over the width of the deck.
