The Boatyard at Beer has recently expanded into International 14s customisation. This has arisen from Ian Teasdale’s successful involvement in the class, including racing at the World Championships in New Zealand in 2005.

The five photographs above show the latest International 14 from the Boatyard at Beer. The boat is a Bieker 5 design, custom-built in early 2006 for James Fawcett and includes all his bespoke requirements.

" Fawcett and Dobrijevic prevail in a challenging Garda contest
James Fawcett and Dave Dobrijevic prevailed in a mix of conditions at the International 14 European Championships, organised by the Yacht Club Fraglia Della Riva at Lake Garda. The four-day regatta was an important step towards Fawcett and Dobrijevic’s campaign to win the 14 World Championships in Los Angeles later this summer."
